<p>Linda Whittemore became an artist to express the world around her. Living
on Maui, she spends time in her studio creating images of the island’s
surroundings which are a constant source of inspiration.</p>
<p><br>
Linda’s training as a printmaker began in the print studio of Margaret
Bedell (her mother). She also attended classes from a young age at the Laguna
Beach School of Art in Laguna Beach, California. In 2002, Linda earned a B.A.
degree from University of Hawai'i. Over the years, Linda has had the opportunity
to study with Roger Folk, Hiroki Morinoue, Roger Armstrong, Chris Nugent and
other fine artists.</p>

Sought after by collectors, Linda’s unique abstract monoprints result
from of a finely tuned artistic sense combined with passion to continually
explore
new themes and styles. </p>
